Anyone from any clan may sign up. Guests may view and reply to this thread. If you're in multiple clans, please choose a single clan to represent. This cannot be changed once the first round begins.

Best of three wins

If there's lag, deal with it. If it's excruciatingly painful, you can go ahead and stop the match, replay it. Everything during that match will be counted irrelevant to the results of the bracket. The stage must be agreed upon by both players to ensure the win is based on skill, not who got their stage.

Please post your name and clan to enter. If you don't register on the site, please add me on any of my messengers so I can be sure I'm talking to the same person every time. That way no one fakes who you are and gives the wrong result of your match. =) If not possible, it's preferred that you register, but obviously you don't need to since this -is- a clan site rather than some random forum.

If you want to be more fair, add these to the banned stages:
- Warioware, Inc.
- Norfair
- Frigate Orpheon
- the two retro stages (Donkey Kong, and classic Mario Bros.)
- the typical banned Melee stages


The stages above provide distinct disadvantages to some characters, or their are certain stage events/obstacles that not only disrupt battle, but can also kill players. Other reasons include being too big.

EDIT: When scheduling the time, what region will that time encompass, so that others can adjust that time to meet for the tournament. (For example, one clan I know schedule and post all times for any and all events in Central, meaning I have to attend an hour later... or something like that)

Frigate Orpheon is pretty clear on when the stage flips.. it'd be a counterpick at worst.
Norfair could probably pass as a counterpick, too.. the giant lava wall can be shielded, so there's no real need for the safe zone.

As many people can join from a single clan as you want; it's just that each person should only represent one clan.

Suggestion: Allow each person to strike 1 map from the list of pickable ones before any fighting is done.

ex. Let's say I play Bob. Before we start our best of three, we both pick one map to ban just for our fights. That way neither of us have to fight on our most hated map.

Another stage came to mind to ban... Pictochat...

Bumping this. I think we should still organize something. It's a bit late, but I could mention it on NWA and go to some of the individual clans listed. We could really get it going, if we wanted.
